MEET DEIDRE
DS Contract emerged after more than 25 years of design experience in senior living and hospitality that included sourcing and vendor management. Living in Chicago for her entire adulthood, she and her husband Michael moved to Prescott in 2020.
Deidre’s history in hospitality runs deep. It originally began in the late 1960’s with both parents in the hotel business throughout her growing up and adulthood. Transitioning into a hospitality-related career was a natural evolution.
Deidre and her husband Michael are chipping away on their bucket list of traveling to all the US National Parks. So far, Glacier National Park tops the list of faves!

What does “contract” furniture mean?

How long does it take to get custom furniture?
In general terms the manufacturing of custom furniture can take 6 to 10 weeks from start to finish once all approvals and deposits are made. The remaining lead time is the transportation from where it’s being made to the FOB point designated. Many times there are several means of transportation that include overseas shipping, rail, and truck. Consult with us on more specifics and we can help navigate through the variables.
Where are the products made that you represent?
Woodcraft Hospitality makes custom casegoods and seating out of Vietnam for hospitality, multi-family, and senior living.
Lumirite makes custom lighting in China and meets all ETL/UL standards for North America.
Lilly Kral’s luxury leathers and faux leathers come from various countries in Europe with an abundant volume of stock here in the US.
Oxford Garden makes outdoor furniture, Umbrellas, and Cushions in various parts of Asia, depending upon the materials used. There are various points of warehousing and distribution to facilitate a short lead-time.
What if I need something that is not part of your product lines?
Just because I cannot be a direct source for a particular product, I am delighted to share my knowledge about resources in the industry and help you find a great solution to your need.
How are problems resolved with your manufacturers?
This is an important consideration and a large part of why I am representing the companies that I do. I believe in transparency and delivering any bad news just as soon as it is known so a solution can be provided swiftly and effectively. Each of my companies lives this mantra and understands the importance of “making it right” with our customers. We work hard on your behalf to ensure we exceed your expectations, gain your trust, and develop a lasting partnership that sustains for years to come.
